Tomorrow’s my birthday, and I’ve been sitting with that quiet, reflective feeling that always shows up around this time of year. Not the loud kind of celebration energy. The Capricorn kind. The pause-before-the-next-climb kind.
January birthdays feel different. We don’t ease into a new year, we arrive in it. While everyone else is still shaking off last year, we’re already recalibrating, already asking ourselves deeper questions. What worked? What didn’t? What am I no longer willing to carry forward?
Being a Capricorn isn’t about being cold or serious like people love to label us. It’s about depth. It’s about responsibility, yes, but also devotion. When we commit, we commit To people. To dreams. To becoming better versions of ourselves, even when no one is watching.
