I’ll be honest, I didn’t get to write yesterday, and I almost didn’t write today either. I’ve been working back-to-back 10-hour shifts, and by the time I get home, I’m exhausted. Life still needs attention. Responsibilities don’t pause. And some days, there just isn’t much left in the tank for writing.
But this has been on my mind lately, and it feels important enough to show up anyway.
Because the truth is, you are never as limited as you think you are. I know this not just because I believe it, but because it’s what I study, speak about, and write about every single day. Understanding where you are in your spiritual awakening, and how your inner world is shaping your outer life, changes everything.
This has been on my mind all day. Identity. How it forms, how it sticks, and how often we don’t realize we’re reinforcing it until we stop and pay attention.
It’s one of those things that hides in plain sight. We tend to think identity is fixed, who we are, how we’ve always been, when in reality, it’s constantly being shaped by where our energy goes, especially before we ever take action.
Today, while driving to work and then back home again, I kept coming back to that idea. How much power there is in directing energy instead of reacting with it. And how gently things begin to change when you do.
