What This Invisible Power Actually Is (At Least to Me)

How imagination works before reality catches up

I keep circling back to this invisible power, not because I’m trying to label it, but because I’m feeling it work in real time. And I think a lot of people are feeling it too, they just don’t know how to explain it yet.

It’s not something outside of us. It’s not magic. It’s not even spiritual in the way people usually mean it.

It’s the space before things happen.

It’s what moves when nothing on the outside has changed yet. It’s what shifts when you stop reacting and start getting quiet inside. That’s why imagination matters so much, it’s the only place this power can actually reach you.

Your senses won’t pick it up. Your senses are tied to your subconscious mind. They’re trained on repetition, memory, conditioning. They exist to keep things familiar, not to create something new.

Imagination doesn’t do that.

Imagination bypasses the noise. It bypasses the old stories. It lets you feel something before you can prove it. And that’s where this invisible power lives, in the feeling, not the explanation.

That’s why words alone don’t work. You can say all the right things and still feel wrong inside. You can say you’re confident and feel terrified. You can say you’re successful and feel like you’re failing.

But when imagination carries feeling, something clicks. Something softens....
